Five culinary icons are coming together for Culinary Icons: Second Edition, a live culinary showcase hosted at Puente Romano Marbella on 2 June, with all proceeds benefiting the Spanish Red Cross.
The line-up features Nobu Matsuhisa, Izu Ani, Dani García, Yiannis Kioroglou and Albert Adrià, who received the 2025 Estrella Damm Chefs’ Choice Award – the only peer-voted accolade in the programme – who will close the showcase with dessert, returning to his pastry chef roots where his remarkable career began at the legendary El Bullí.
Four of the five chefs represent destination restaurants within the Puente Romano Marbella resort, making Culinary Icons a showcase of the talent that guests can discover year-round.
Set in the open-air surroundings of La Plaza, guests will watch each chef present their dish on stage before savouring all five creations at their table, prepared by the restaurant teams.
Culinary Icons: Second Edition also takes place during the opening weeks of Sips Barcelona’s three-month residency at Bar La Plaza, so guests at Culinary Icons will also be welcomed with a signature Sips cocktail.
‘The success of last year’s inaugural edition showed us that Culinary Icons has become a landmark on the international culinary calendar,” says Daniel Shamoon, owner of the resort. “To welcome Albert Adrià alongside Chef Nobu, Izu Ani, Dani García and Yiannis Kioroglou, all giving their time and talent in support of the Spanish Red Cross, is a proud moment for the resort and for everyone involved.”
