Ambiente, the international trade show for the consumer goods industry, is basking in the glow of a successful comeback this month.

The show welcomed top national and international brands to Frankfurt, Germany, on 3-7 February, running alongside the leading international consumer goods trade fairs Christmasworld and Creativeworld for the first time. A total of 170 different nationalities flocked to the event, which saw 4,561 exhibitors occupy the Frankfurt exhibition centre and drew 154,000 retailers from all over the world.

A particular highlight was the Future of Work area in the new Ambiente Working section, which presented individual solutions for modern working environments, inspired by the evolution of the contemporary office space.

Elsewhere, Ambiente continued to provide a platform to display the latest in stylish cooking, dining and household solutions. Spanning glass, porcelain, innovative kitchen accessories and small electrical appliances, the range of products on show came from top brands including Alfi, Bormioli Rocco, Cristel, De Buyer, Dibbern, Gefu, the Küchenprofi Group, Kai, Kuhn Rikon, Leerdam Crisal Glass, Mepal and Pasabahce. Nude, Robbe & Berking, Rosenthal, Sodastream, Tramontina and Westmark were also on hand to bring glamour and variety to the table in the Dining area.

“With an overwhelming participation and tremendous internationality, we have made an incredible comeback for the global consumer goods world after two years of pandemic,” said Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board. “Frankfurt has strengthened its leading position and is the comprehensive inspiration, ordering and networking event. Our new concept One-Stop-Shop is working.”

The next edition of Ambiente will take place on 26-30 January 2024.
