Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi to host Michelin-starred dining events
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is expanding its culinary calendar this month with two exclusive dining events at its signature fine-dining restaurant, Le Beaulieu.
The return of Le Beaulieu’s ‘Rendez-vous’ series will welcome chef Hiroyuki Matsumoto of one-Michelin-starred Restaurant Prunier in Tokyo. Joining forces with Le Beaulieu Chef de Cuisine Charles Degrendele, the pair will present a four-hands dinner combining French culinary heritage with Japanese precision and artistry, showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients.

The collaboration reflects the shared philosophy of both institutions: a deep respect for French fine dining paired with a refined contemporary approach. Matsumoto honed his craft in France at celebrated establishments including the three-Michelin-starred La Côte d’Or and is known for bringing a lighter, modern touch to classic French gastronomy.
Guests at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi will also be invited to a special Provençal edition of Le Beaulieu’s Sunday Brunch alongside chef Louis Gachet of one-Michelin-starred Le Feuillée in Provence. The lavish spread will feature Provençal-inspired dishes alongside French classics, premium seafood, artisanal charcuterie and French cheeses, accompanied by live jazz.
