World of Coffee Geneva 2025 set to host 13,000 coffee professionals
World of Coffee Geneva 2025, set to take place at Palexpo SA in Geneva, Switzerland from June 26-28, will be the final opportunity for companies to exhibit at a Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) trade show in the 2024–2025 cycle.
The event follows the sold-out successes of World of Coffee Dubai, the Specialty Coffee Expo and World of Coffee Jakarta, and is expected to welcome more than 13,000 coffee professionals from over 160 countries.
Produced by the SCA, World of Coffee Geneva is the largest European event dedicated to the specialty coffee industry and will bring together stakeholders from across the value chain, from producers to multinational executives, for three days of exhibitions, networking, and education. The show offers a platform for launching products, securing partnerships, and engaging directly with high-value customers. According to organisers, 25% of attendees plan to invest over $1 million, underscoring the event’s business potential.
A wide array of global and Swiss-based companies will be represented at the event, including Nestlé Professional, Eversys, Blaser Trading, Thermoplan, Sucafina, Animo, Oatly, WIPF AG and Danstar. Attendees will also connect with a vibrant community of roasters and producers, with featured participants such as Taf Coffee, Hacienda La Esmeralda, Cloud Picker, Coffee Republic S.A., Stow Coffee Roasters and Lykke Coffee Farms.
One of the most dynamic areas of the trade show floor, the Roaster Villages, will provide a dedicated space for emerging roasters to showcase their coffees and forge new business relationships. In addition, over 30 cupping sessions will give producers and importers the opportunity to present their coffees to potential buyers in a hands-on, sensory environment.
The event will also host the World Coffee Championships, including the World Latte Art Championship, World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, World Cup Tasters Championship, and the Cezve/Ibrik Championship. Other key highlights include the Best New Product Competition, Coffee Design Awards, SCA Lecture Series and Green Coffee Connect: a space for green coffee professionals to engage in industry dialogue.
This year’s show is supported by leading sponsors: Host Sponsor BWT water+more, Platinum Sponsor Barista Attitude, Diamond Sponsor Nestlé Professional and Gold Sponsor Alpro. Café de Colombia will be featured as the official Portrait Country, offering cultural activations and a pop-up café experience.
Hospitality, retail, and café professionals are also encouraged to attend to learn how specialty coffee can enhance their business models. Attendees will have the opportunity to make purchasing decisions face-to-face on the show floor and participate in various networking events, workshops, and curated lounges.
“World of Coffee Europe is thriving in a period of remarkable growth, with increasing attendance and a growing number of exhibitors and sponsors recognizing the immense value of in-person engagement,” says Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the Specialty Coffee Association. “Switzerland is home to some of the world’s most innovative companies and has become an epicenter of specialty coffee study, innovation, technology, and business. World of Coffee Geneva is the only European event dedicated to amplifying and enriching the entire specialty coffee supply and value chain. We invite companies aligned with our mission to Make Coffee Better to join us.”
