RH England opens new dining experience, The Conservatory

RH England, the 73-acre estate and hospitality destination near Oxford has opened its newest dining venue, The Conservatory.

Located in the restored east wing, previously the estate’s stable block and workshop, The Conservatory is designed as a skylit garden space, with a glass ceiling providing natural light and a central lighting installation by London designer Anouska Hempel, also known as Lady Weinberg.

The restaurant overlooks the estate’s courtyard and the 14th-century St Michael’s Church. Guests will dine among heritage olive trees emerging from bespoke banquettes and three monumental fireplaces clad in tumbled Cotswold limestone.

The menu brings the approach of RH Paris, which opened in September 2025, to England for the first time, offering American and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

Menu highlights include Caviar Carpaccios, inspired by RH Chairman Gary Friedman’s travels in Mykonos. The dishes feature thinly sliced bluefin toro, Norwegian salmon, Mediterranean sea bass, Hass avocado or beef filet, each topped with Petrossian Imperial Kaluga caviar and finished with smoked sea salt.

The Petite Baked Potatoes offer three distinct interpretations: the Parisian with Petrossian Imperial Kaluga caviar, the American with bacon and cheddar, and the Classic with chive butter and sea salt, all served with crème fraîche. Also making its UK debut is the RH Burger, named the Best Burger in New York by the Financial Times.

A reimagined French classic, Steak Frites features bavette finished with either Béarnaise or pepper sauce alongside crispy fries. Rounding out the offering are Signature Salads, featuring fresh lobster and king crab nestled in butter lettuce cups.

The Conservatory joins other hospitality spaces at RH England, including The Orangery, an open-fire restaurant with countryside views; The Loggia, serving wood-fired pizzas, charcuterie and shared plates; The Wine Lounge, offering champagnes and wines; The Juicery, serving fresh juices and espresso; and the Tea Salon, with speciality teas.
