The Anam Cam Ranh introduces in-villa gourmet barbeque experiences
The Anam Cam Ranh has introduced two elevated in-villa gourmet barbeque experiences, complete with a private chef and waiter, exclusively for guests staying in its premium hilltop pool villas.
Available only in the resort’s two-bedroom and three-bedroom hilltop pool villas, each menu presents a generous selection of appetisers, grilled seafood, meats and vegetables, a variety of condiments and sauces and an indulgent dessert.
The Asian BBQ begins with sautéed Vietnamese beef and local seafood, followed by a fragrant seafood Tom Yum with mushrooms and herbs. The barbeque selection features grilled tiger prawns with spicy chilli marinade and sweet corn; king oyster mushrooms with oyster sauce and roasted sesame; rolled beef striploin with green asparagus; an ocean giant clam of the day dressed in peanut chili scallion sauce; and grilled pork rib with shrimp paste and crispy lemongrass. Dessert brings together chocolate brownie, yogurt mousse, raspberry compote and a passion fruit entremet.
The Western BBQ opens with Iberico pulled pork tacos with avocado guacamole, grilled lime and coriander, along with charcoal-grilled romaine paired with sundried tomato, padano cheese and a confit garlic–honey yogurt sauce. A green abalone and spinach soup follows before the main selection of premium meats and seafood. Highlights include ocean oysters with marmalade shallot and pistachio; New Zealand green mussels with tomato cheese sauce; and Iberico pork jowl with chimichurri. Dessert features a white wine mousse with yuzu compote alongside mango curd and coconut dacquoise.
“These menus may be inspired by the humble barbeque, but the fare they afford is anything but your typical sausages or burger patties,” says The Anam Group’s group general manager Laurent Myter. “The spacious Hilltop Pool Villa kitchens are especially equipped to cater to such a feast, best enjoyed beside your private pool.”
