The Rubens at the Palace in London has launched its latest food-focused experiences for 2026, inviting guests on a tailored tour of Borough Market and celebrating London’s rich culinary heritage.
At the heart of the encounter is Head Chef Ben Kelliher. Before the market opens to the crowds, he guides guests through its historic cobbled aisles, stepping behind the scenes to meet trusted traders and taste exceptional British produce at its freshest.
From artisanal baked goods and coffee to British seafood and seasonal harvests, every route is thoughtfully curated around personal tastes and passions. Whether that results in a classic market-to-table experience or a fully plant-based exploration, the journey celebrates the very best seasonal ingredients, including little-known gems and hidden stalls often missed by the everyday visitor.

The experience concludes back at The Rubens, just moments from Buckingham Palace, where Kelliher transforms the selected ingredients into a refined six-course chef’s table dinner in the property’s English Grill Restaurant. Paired with signature cocktails and carefully selected wines, each course reflects a direct, flavour-led connection between producer and plate.
The hotel also offers a walking tour that explores London’s lost tea history with its longstanding partner, PMD Tea.
