Sea Containers London to open Gordon Ramsay restaurant

Sea Containers London by Lore Group and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants have announced a new partnership that will bring a landmark dining destination to London’s South Bank this autumn.

Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, delivering the brand’s signature precision through a concept tailored to its riverside setting. Designed by Jacu Strauss, the interiors draw inspiration from the building’s transatlantic identity, layering rich red tones inspired by Blackfriars Bridge with subtle nods to classic cruise liner design. An outdoor riverside terrace will further enhance the experience, offering guests an open-air setting overlooking the River Thames.

The partnership reflects a shared ambition between both brands to create experience-led hospitality destinations that combine culinary excellence, design, culture and location. Sea Containers London marks a natural addition to Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global’s growing portfolio of destination restaurants and for Lore Group, the collaboration forms part of its continued investment in distinctive hotels and restaurants with strong local identity and international appeal.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Sea Containers London on such a landmark riverside destination,” says CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global Andy Wenlock. “From the outset, there was a clear alignment in vision, ambition and commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences. Sea Containers London has an unmistakable identity and energy, and together we’re creating a restaurant that captures the vibrancy of the South Bank while upholding the standards of quality, atmosphere and hospitality that define our restaurants globally.”

“Sea Containers London has always been about creating culturally relevant experiences that reflect the energy and creativity of the South Bank,” confirms CEO of Lore Group David Taylor. “Partnering with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global brings together two brands that share a commitment to quality, originality and world-class hospitality. This is an important moment for the hotel and for Lore Group as we continue to invest in destinations with strong identity, character and long-term appeal.”
