YTL Hotels’ Threadneedles, the hotel housed within the former headquarters of the London, City and Midland Bank, has announced that The Mercer has joined its F&B lineup.

The menu showcases the brasserie‘s signature blend of British classics and elegant comfort food. Starters include Dorset crab on toast and seared Scottish scallops, followed by hearty mains such as the signature Mercer pie, Cornish lamb shepherd’s pie and 28-day dry-aged Hereford beef, finished with a selection of classic puddings and curated British cheeses.

The Mercer also offers private dining for corporate celebrations, intimate dinners and events at Threadneedles.

The new arrival joins Threadneedles’ existing food and drink offering. The signature bar, set within a former banking counter, serves a wide selection of drinks and signature cocktails, while the Dome Lounge, crowned by a hand-painted stained-glass dome dating back to 1856, continues to serve an afternoon tea of freshly baked scones, delicate pastries and finger sandwiches, paired with fine teas or champagne.
