The Peninsula London has joined forces with acclaimed chef Claude Bosi for its headline F&B offering.

The luxurious newly-built hotel, which is located at the city’s prestigious Hyde Park Corner, will feature a sleek rooftop restaurant, Brooklands, helmed by the Michelin-starred French chef. Offering contemporary European cuisine, the venue – which was designed by storied London architects Archer Humphryes – comprises a sleek main dining room and a sweeping outdoor terrace with enchanting views, where an overhead scale model of the Concorde gives diners the sense of being airborne. The space also includes an automotive-themed bar displaying a series of original classic race cars from the Brooklands racetrack and museum, and an exclusive cigar tasting lounge.

Bosi, who has taken on the role of Chef Director at the rooftop restaurant, will oversee a menu that promises to spotlight seasonal and sustainably sourced produce from the British Isles and beyond.

The hotel’s F&B programme also includes a Chinese restaurant called Canton Blue, which celebrates the spice-trade union of Asian and British cultures with menus of creative dishes by Chef Dicky To. The space’s exotic décor, created by the Hong Kong-based interior designer Henry Leung of CAP Atelier, was inspired by the Keying junk, a three-masted, 800-ton Chinese trading ship that sailed between China and Britain between 1846 and 1848. The space has been divided into several areas at different levels, including the ground-floor Little Blue Bar, which serves up cocktails inspired by the flavours of the East.

Elsewhere, gourmands will be able to tuck into the signature Peninsula Afternoon Tea beneath the soaring ceilings of The Lobby all-day restaurant, while The Peninsula Boutique & Café will provide a relaxed retail and grab-and-go concept serving the local community.

The hotel has made a point of collaborating with high-profile British-based creatives, including the fashion designer Jenny Packham, the perfumer Timothy Han, and more than 40 artists from The Royal Drawing School.
