Pulitzer Amsterdam welcomes Jeroen Boone as Executive Chef
Pulitzer Amsterdam has announced that Jeroen Boone will take over as Executive Chef.
Boone has made a name for himself in the Amsterdam restaurant scene, arriving from Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, where he fulfilled roles including Sous Chef of two Michelin-starred Spectrum and Executive Sous Chef of Waldorf Astoria.
Previously, he developed his culinary skills in Australia, Aruba and Spain, before working at two Michelin-star restaurant Bord’Eau in De L’Europe alongside other notable chefs Richard van Oostenbrugge, Thomas Groot and Bas van Kranen.
As Executive Chef at Pulitzer Amsterdam, Boone will oversee the culinary experience throughout the five-star hotel, which is in the UNESCO-World Heritage site city centre, nestled between the canals. He will lead the kitchen across restaurant Jansz, the Pulitzer Garden and Pulitzer’s Bar alongside all events hosted at the hotel.
Boone will also launch his new menu at Restaurant Jansz. this October, with dishes that reflect his vision of refined flavours and creativity, marking a new chapter for the restaurant.
“I am looking forward, together with the talented team, to taking the Pulitzer Amsterdam experience to the next level. With the ultimate goal to bring Jansz back to the top of casual dining in Amsterdam. We are going to give this restaurant, with its fantastic location, the attention and finesse it deserves,” says Boone.
