Spotlight: Pickle Soda by Three Cents

Premium mixers brand Three Cents has unveiled its latest innovation, Pickle Soda.

The first-of-its-kind soda flavour brings an unexpected edge to cocktails and long drinks, while leaning into consumer demand for umami and savoury-led flavours, as well as pickling and preservation. It transforms the vibrant essence of brine, vinegar, salt and sugar into a multidimensional soda with the signature Three Cents fizz. Its aroma is fresh, led by the scent of crisp cucumber and grounded by the earthy character of celery, while the flavour is aromatic, tangy and savoury.

Pickle Soda is versatile, pairing with a wide range of spirits, while being equally delicious enjoyed neat for a refreshing, multi-sensory sip. Its hero serves include the Pickleball, a vodka highball with a bold twist of pickle and Tabasco; the Pickleback Fizz, a long-drink take on the classic whiskey shot-and-chaser combination; and finally, the Pickle Rickey, which offers a refreshing combination of gin, lime cordial, Three Cents Pickle Soda and a garnish of dill.

As with the wider Three Cents range, Pickle Soda is made using natural ingredients, without the use of preservatives or artificial colourings. Founded in Athens by a group of bartenders in pursuit of the perfect cocktail mixer, Three Cents has built a reputation for creating premium sodas and tonics that lead global flavour trends and inspire creativity among bartenders. The announcement follows the launch of Fig Leaf Soda in 2024, which has since become a popular flavour profile and secured listings in some of the world’s leading bars.

The full Three Cents range includes the newly launched Pickle Soda, Fig Leaf Soda, Two Cents Plain, Ginger Beer, Ginger Ale, Mandarin & Bergamot Soda, Cherry Soda, Sparkling Lemonade, Pineapple Soda and Pink Grapefruit Soda. It also features a selection of tonics, including Tonic Water, Aegean Tonic, Lemon Tonic and Dry Tonic.

Three Cents Pickle Soda is available to UK operators via Cask Liquid Marketing.
