Woodford Reserve has partnered with industry wellness organisation, Healthy Hospo, to offer a free membership to hospitality professionals.

The partnership with Woodford Reserve will see the brand fund 1,250 two-month memberships to Healthy Hospo’s new wellness app, offering nutrition, exercise and mental health advice. Healthy Hospo will match this by offering a further 1,250 memberships themselves.

Founded by a former bartender and brand ambassador team, Healthy Hospo is a global platform focused on improving mental and physical wellness within the hospitality industry.

In further support of the industry, Woodford Reserve is extending ‘Old Fashioned Week’ in the UK to run throughout November. Despite the closure of pubs, bars and restaurants during the national lockdown, the craft bourbon brand is encouraging whiskey lovers to toast the classic Old Fashioned by celebrating with one of its many takeaway and home delivery options.

The brand has collaborated with leading bars to put a modern twist on the classic American cocktail. Boasting over 200 flavour notes, Woodford Reserve whiskey balances a rich aroma with a distinctive depth of flavour and characteristic colour.

This month, Bethnal Green bar, Coupette, is offering a classic Old Fashioned cocktail for £10 a bottle through Deliveroo, while Soho favourite, Swift, is offering their bespoke cocktails featuring Woodford Reserve as either a pouch (serves 2) or a bottle (serves 5). Hawksmoor is offering a 200ml bottle of its pre-mixed ‘Fuller Fat Old Fashioned’ cocktail – containing brown butter, sweetened tonka bean and chocolate alongside Woodford Reserve – ready to serve over ice with either a bay leaf or orange twist.

Alternatively, the Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned Gift Pack – available online and at supermarkets – provides all the tools needed to create the classic cocktail by hand, including the brand’s signature syrup.
