A clutch of celebrated Michelin-starred chefs are descending on Anantara Layan Phuket in the coming months for a series of intimate, limited edition dining experiences.
Designed as a series of collaborative residencies rather than standalone events, the Gourmet Affair a Michelin Collective will create moments where global culinary voices converge within Anantara’s restaurants, offering guests the opportunity to experience Michelin-starred cooking in a destination-led setting.
At Anantara Layan, the Collective will be hosted across two of the resort’s dining venues: Age, where flame-driven cuisine takes the spotlight, and Dara, a more intimate space known for its elegant service and carefully composed menus.
The opening quarter of the programme will see seven Michelin stars represented across visiting chefs:
• 15-16 January – Chef Araki Takeshi one Michelin star, Dara
• 30-31 January – Chef Bart De Pooter two Michelin stars, Age
• 8-15 February – Chef Brando Morros one Michelin star, Age
• 22-28 February – Chef Nicola Fossaceca one Michelin star, Age
• 27-28 March – Chef Florian Berger one Michelin star, Age
• March dates tbc – Chef Iside De Cesare one Michelin star, Age
Menus will be developed collaboratively during each residency, with the Anantara Layan Phuket culinary team reflecting a shared respect for provenance technique and craftsmanship.
The event will continue until the end of 2026, with additional chefs and dates revealed in the coming months.
