Royal Hideaway Corales Resort in Tenerife is launching the first edition of Inspirational Chef Stories from 28-29 November 2026. To mark the occasion, Albert Adrià of two-Michelin-starred Enigma in Barcelona will join resident chefs Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padrón for an astronomy-themed, six-hands dinner at the resort’s two-Michelin-starred, three-Repsol-Sun El Rincón de Juan Carlos.

Inspirational Chef Stories is the latest evolution of the resort’s Inspirational Chef Programme, which since 2018 has welcomed cooks including Tim Boury, Massimo Bottura, Ana Roš, Diego Guerrero and the Torres brothers. This year’s series has been revamped, with each edition drawing inspiration from a defining feature of the Canary Islands, bringing together gastronomy, destination, culture, science and creativity into one programme.

The series is built on a two-way exchange. Adrià will read Tenerife through his own creative lens, while the Padrón brothers will rediscover their territory through his outside gaze – that mutual spark will then translated on the plate.

The first edition’s muse is the night sky. Tenerife has one of the world’s most important skies for astronomical observation, so it’s against this backdrop that Albert Adrià and the Padrón brothers will cook, drawing a connection between the two: the stars above Tenerife and the Michelin stars in the resort’s kitchens. Future editions will turn to other island features such as its ocean, botany, geology or cultural heritage.

During the event, each day culminates in a collaborative six-hands dinner, featuring a thoughtfully crafted 12-course tasting menu. Each restaurant will present six dishes, blending the two restaurants’ styles into a single interactive experience, accompanied by a curated wine pairing. A series of Inspirational Talks will also feature, discussing moments connected to Tenerife’s landscape, Atlantic pantry and gastronomic identity. Wider programming across the two days also includes a visit to the Izaña Observatory on Mount Teide and a tasting at a winery practising biodynamic agriculture.
