Alex Dilling and Albert Adrià join forces at Hotel Café Royal

Alex Dilling, Chef Patron of the two Michelin-starred restaurant at Hotel Café Royal, and Albert Adrià, the force behind London’s Cakes & Bubbles, will come together for an exclusive four-hands dinner.

Hosted in the intimate 34-seat dining room of Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal, gourmands can expect an evening of culinary collaboration and be personally introduced to the chefs over drinks and a selection of hand-crafted canapés.

A curated eight-course tasting menu will lean on traditional French gastronomic cuisine with dishes to include Dilling’s Hunter Chicken, elevated with a one-off sauce created by Adrià.

The collaboration marks a rare appearance in London for Adrià, who has built a gastronomic revolution alongside his brother Ferran at the three-Michelin-starred elBulli in Spain, regularly ranked the world’s best restaurant before its closure in 2011.

Since then, he has created an empire of restaurants in Barcelona – from tapas bar Tickets, to the modern Michelin-starred Mexican restaurant Hoja Santa, and Enigma, where he is currently Head Chef.

Adrià was also voted The World’s Best Pastry Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In London, he is now known for Cakes & Bubbles, his first permanent site outside Spain, which launched in 2018 at Hotel Café Royal.
