Former Tudor palace, Ashridge House, has announced the launch of ‘The Enchanted Garden Globes’, a bespoke festive outdoor dining experience.

Throughout December, the property’s private gardens will be host to Enchanted Garden Globes, each accommodating six people for those in single households, bubbles or those attending business events, in line with current government guidelines.

The Globes have been created and built bespoke for the terrace with views across the gardens. Each Globe will be heated and dressed for a unique dining experience with festive music.

Served from 12-4pm, The Lunch Experience includes a glass of prosecco on arrival, followed by a four course festive feast paired with a glass of wine, as well as tea and coffee afterwards.

Meanwhile, The Dinner Experience runs includes spiced mulled wine and a five course festive feast paired with a bottle of wine, in addition to the beverages included in The Lunch Experience.

Guests will also be invited to enjoy a woodland walk with light installations, secret hideaways, tunnels of falling stars, hot toddies, glittering grottos and surprise encounters along the way.

From the vaulted entrance of twinkling Christmas trees to the Harry Potter staircase and the yuletide outdoor wonderland, The Enchanted Garden Globes will offer guests a woodland escape.

Located in Hertfordshire with grand turreted façades, Ashridge House was once a royal residence to King Henry VIII and home to his daughter, Princess Elizabeth I. Surrounded by 190-acres of English gardens, the former palace is the ideal backdrop for a unique dining experience.

Further updates regarding mixing households from 17th December onwards are to be announced, as is availability in January 2021.
