Banyan Tree Phuket debuts new and reimagined restaurants

Banyan Tree Phuket has unveiled a redesign of its Thai restaurant, Saffron, and introduced Saisons, a new cheese and charcuterie lounge.

Saffron has undergone a thoughtful transformation in both culinary and architectural terms. The restaurant now offers expanded seating and features two new private dining rooms. At the helm is Chef de Cuisine, Tipaporn Phianthong who leads the culinary vision both in Phuket and across the brand globally.

Complementing this evolution is the launch of Saisons, which introduces a taste of European cuisine to Banyan Tree Phuket’s tropical setting with a curated selection of premium wines from around the world, paired with artisanal cheeses, hand-crafted charcuterie and seasonal small plates.

“With our new menu, we aim to position Saffron as a preferred Thai restaurant for both locals and travellers,” says Phianthong. “Each dish is designed to evoke nostalgia and familiarity, while the presentation and contemporary techniques highlight the versatility and elegance of the cuisine.”
