Brooklands Bar in London sets the stage for global cocktail residencies
Cocktail professionals can expect a dynamic year ahead at Brooklands Bar at The Peninsula London, as the rooftop venue launches a series of monthly residencies spotlighting leading names in global mixology.
Designed to bring fresh energy to the capital’s bar scene, the programme will see internationally acclaimed bars take over the space, each presenting a distinct creative vision.
The series began with Rome’s Drink Kong, in partnership with Amaro Lucano, introducing a sharply curated menu of cocktails such as Canova, Interlude, Glitch and Lucan-0, layered with bold, fusion flavours including sage-grapefruit and blueberry and mint cordials sourced from Italy. Brooklands’ Head Mixologist James Tamang contributed a signature serve inspired by the bar’s retro-futurist style, while founder Patrick Pistolesi stepped behind the bar for a guest shift.
Next, Athens’ celebrated all-day bar The Clumsies brings its playful, Mediterranean-leaning approach, with bartenders Nikos Bakoulis and Vasilis Kyritsis showcasing a selection of signature drinks alongside a collaborative cocktail with Tamang.
Later in the year, Barcelona’s Paradiso arrives under its Home-en concept, delivering a seasonally driven takeover defined by experimental flavour pairings and theatrical presentation.
