Celentano’s to open at Arthouse Glasgow

Celentano’s, the Glasgow restaurant run by Anna and Dean Parker, has confirmed that it will open at Arthouse Glasgow in April 2026.

Celentano’s at Arthouse will be an evolution of the Italian-inspired restaurant, which first opened in 2021. The move marks a relocation and a new chapter following the sale of its original home, Cathedral House, in the city’s East End.

The new restaurant will keep the warm and informal atmosphere of the original, along with its Italian influenced dishes, while introducing a new look and an updated menu.

The menu will remain centred on Dean’s ingredient led and minimal waste approach. Produce will often be cooked over embers to create bold smoky flavours while keeping the focus on the ingredients.

Fermentation and preservation will continue to play a key role, along with nose to tail cookery that uses whole animals often butchered in-house. Well known dishes such as the seasonally changing vegetable agnolotti and the malted barley affogato will stay on the menu and will sit alongside new additions created for the Arthouse site.

The drinks list, led by Anna, will follow the same low waste ethos, with seasonal cocktails that make use of ingredients from the kitchen. Many of the liqueurs are made in-house, including vermouth for the signature Celentano’s negroni, orange liqueur for margaritas and 0 per cent vermouth for the NOgroni. The short wine list, including wines on tap, will continue to focus on biodynamic and organic producers and will change with the seasons.

The restaurant will seat more than 60 guests on a single level, almost doubling the capacity of the original site. A-nrd Studio is leading the interior design, bringing together historic Glasgow architecture with contemporary elements and a mix of neutral and warm materials.

Arthouse Glasgow will occupy a 19th century townhouse in the city centre and will be the first hotel from the new British hotel group Oberland.
