Fairmont New Orleans teams up with The Emeril Group
Fairmont New Orleans has unveiled a culinary collaboration with chef Emeril Lagasse, bringing Delmonico Steakhouse to the lively city where The Emeril Group is based.
Lagasse’s grand American steakhouse will give guests and locals the chance to enjoy his signature bold flavours, quality prime cuts dry aged in house, and an extensive wine list alongside an internationally curated spirits programme.
The collaboration marks a key milestone in the property’s development and highlights Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ focus on creating standout culinary destinations and social hubs across its global portfolio. Adding to the hotel’s offering, The Emeril Group will also launch The Café by Emeril, a new concept serving breakfast and lunch.
“I opened the first Delmonico Steakhouse over 25 years ago in Las Vegas and it has always been a dream of mine to bring this iconic concept to New Orleans,” says Lagasse. “We honour the classic American steakhouse but we do it with our own New Orleans spirit, big flavours, warm hospitality and genuine care for every guest.”
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with The Emeril Group and chef Emeril Lagasse for our hotel’s signature dinner-only experience,” comments Eric Overstreet, General Manager at Fairmont New Orleans. “The opening of Fairmont New Orleans this autumn marks the return of the iconic Fairmont brand to the heart of the city, just steps away from the French Quarter. Delmonico Steakhouse, along with the hotel’s other dining venues including its lounge, rooftop bar and speakeasy, will create a vibrant culinary destination offering memorable experiences for both guests and locals.”
Alongside its new dining concepts, Fairmont New Orleans aims to combine attentive service with local heritage. Part of a landmark redevelopment of the former Bank of New Orleans Building, the property will honour its history while establishing itself as a hotel for the future.
