The Soho Hotel Taste of Britain

Firmdale’s The Soho Hotel launches new Taste of Britain menu

Firmdale Hotels’ The Soho Hotel is launching a new once-a-month dining experience, dedicated to exploring the bounty of the British Isles.

The new experience, named Taste of Britain, will launch during English Wine Week and will be hosted at the London hotel on the third Wednesday of every month.

Executive Chef Joe Fox’s four course menu has been devised to champion seasonal native ingredients. From Dorset crab and Thorogood Farm asparagus, to independent British cheeses rivalling well-known European counterparts, guests of The Soho Hotel will discover dishes made using ingredients found on its doorstep. The menu will also highlight wild produce like nettles and sea kale, as well as high welfare local meat and fish dishes dressed tableside.

A drinks pairing meanwhile will showcase local spirits and wines such as Aker Rose Vermouth, skin contact Chardonnay from Wales and English sparkling wine.
