Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in the Lake District has partnered with Laurent-Perrier to reimagine its terrace for summer, creating a relaxed new spot for champagne and snacks.
Located at the property just outside Windermere, the terrace has been transformed for the occasion, with Laurent-Perrier-branded parasols, deckchairs overlooking the surrounding scenery, and a collection of cushions and throws to keep guests comfortable.
At the heart of the experience is the Laurent-Perrier Champagne Flight – a journey through the champagne house’s signature collection, featuring Brut La Cuvée, Cuvée Rosé and Grand Siècle.
Guests can complement their tasting with a trio of refined potato rösti topped with Cornish crab and smoked pike roe, beef tartare and caviar, and taramasalata and trout roe. For those looking to linger a little longer, the terrace provides a relaxed prelude to dinner at one of Gilpin’s two restaurants: Michelin-starred Source at Gilpin Hotel or pan-Asian Gilpin Spice.
