Hilton Lake Como welcomes Italian market pop-up

Hilton Lake Como introduces Streetfood, an Italian market pop-up in the lakeside property’s Taffeta garden.

New for 2025, it will see the introduction of a Nonna menu, including a selection of traditional dishes from Executive Chef Stefano Ghielmetti’s own grandmother.

Featuring classics including Lasagne alla Bolognese, Parmigiana di Melanzane, and mondeghili (meatballs) with tomato sauce and basil, the menu offers diners the chance to enjoy classic family-style dining, crafted from secret family recipes that have been passed down through the generations.

There will also be a mini mart selling Hilton Lake Como’s own produce and souvenirs. This includes olive oil, Terazza 241 gin and a selection of pasta such as truffle tagliatelle, spinach tagliatelle and tagliatelle all’uovo (a simple pasta crafted with fresh eggs). Recipe cards from the Nonna’s menu will also be available.

Finishing off the line-up, there is an Aperol Spritz cart serving up the most iconic of Italian aperitivos, a Piaggio Ape Pizza cart with a built in wood-fired oven and a Gelato cart in collaboration with the famed local ice cream shop, Gelateria Rossetti.

Formerly a silk factory, Hilton Lake Como is now a modern lifestyle hotel with 360-degree views of the lake from its rooftop pool.
