Il Bambini lands at The Hoxton Shoreditch

London’s first Il Bambini Club, the Italian dining concept by Paris Society, launches on the ground floor of The Hoxton, Shoreditch, this September.

Operated by Rikas Group, in the space previously occupied by The Hoxton Grill, the restaurant is known for its take on a classic trattoria and bold design, bringing characteristic flair to East London. It is the brand’s first UK restaurant, following venues in Paris and Megève.

Combining a nostalgic Italian aesthetic with a distinctly modern London edge, interiors and exteriors were presided over by Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace, who celebrate Italian eccentricity. Green and terracotta furnishings sit alongside dark woods and a variety of textured fabrics, including playful stripes and romantic florals. Meanwhile, custom ceramic tableware influenced by mid-century Italian art and the restaurant’s signature fragrance, Il Bambini Club complete the sensory experience.

The all-day menu features Bambini’s signature dishes: house-made pastas, pizzas, seasonal antipasti and playful desserts, alongside a robust Italian wine list and a cocktail menu that nods to 1960s Rome. Designed to be a lively neighbourhood hangout, the venue includes an open kitchen, spacious bar and mid-week live music roaming.
