Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab reopens Kinugawa with refreshed vision
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will welcome guests back to Kinugawa with a refreshed vision and an expanded beachfront setting.
Reimagined for long afternoons and later nights, the destination brings together Japanese culinary artistry, French refinement and a distinctive sense of place.
At the sushi counter, the chef showcases the finest ingredients through the precision of Japanese craftsmanship. From the robata, dishes built for sharing invite the table to eat together, with whole grilled sea bass, Kagoshima Wagyu sirloin and premium cuts finished over charcoal.
Across the à la carte menu, signatures include the Suzuki Stracciatella, pairing thinly sliced sea bass with creamy stracciatella, raspberries and a yuzu balsamic drizzle; the Salmon Taruto, silky salmon on a golden crunchy base crowned with white truffle tarama; the Lamb Chops Shiso, arriving coated in a crispy shiso-panko crust and sizzling at the table; and the Crab Mango Roll, wrapping succulent crab in a sweet golden mango embrace.
Conceived as a French art salon dedicated to the Japanese master Hiroshige, the bar presents each drink as a liquid interpretation of one of his paintings. Colour, atmosphere and composition are translated into flavour through inventive techniques and exceptional ingredients in every cocktail.
A resident DJ shapes the soundtrack throughout, with evening sets in the restaurant from Monday to Thursday and poolside performances followed by restaurant sets at the weekend. For those seeking a more private escape, Kinugawa offers hotel guests exclusive access to its adults-only beachfront pool, where sun-soaked relaxation is complemented by views of the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.
