Ken Fulk designs new F&B for The Beverly Hills Hotel

The Beverly Hills Hotel, a Dorchester Collection property, is introducing a flurry of new F&B spaces set to create a lively social heart for the hotel.

American designer Ken Fulk serves as creative director for the project, bringing his richly layered aesthetic and theatrical design sensibility to the interiors whilst honouring the spirit of The Beverly Hills Hotel. The project also enlists San Francisco-based firm IBV Architecture as the architect of record.

The new venues include a supper club and luxury dining destination with entertainment curated by the team behind Annabel’s and The Arts Club, alongside a cocktail bar with an outdoor terrace overlooking the LA skyline, and an indoor-outdoor lounge serving locally sourced fare, coffee and high tea. A screening room and private dining room will also be included.

Marking the most significant evolution of the hotel’s social life in more than eighty years, the project represents the most extensive expansion of The Beverly Hills Hotel’s lifestyle offerings since the 1940s and introduces a vibrant new dimension to the property.

“The Beverly Hills Hotel has long been the place where people come together and stories begin,” says General Manager John Scanlon. “We’re delighted to be introducing a new collection of culinary and cocktail destinations that will add an extra dimension to the social life of the hotel whilst celebrating its enduring glamour. Our guests have told us they want even more ways to enjoy the singular atmosphere of this hotel, and we’ve listened. These new additions will sit alongside our beloved dining venues and set the stage for many more memorable occasions at The Beverly Hills Hotel.”

“I’m incredibly honoured to be part of this new chapter at The Beverly Hills Hotel,” Fulk comments. “Few places have shaped my sense of Los Angeles quite like this enchanted getaway. The opportunity to imagine new spaces within such an iconic setting has been thrilling for our team. From a screening room worthy of Jack Warner to a show-stopping supper club designed for unforgettable nights, each space brings its own sense of glamour and theatre to this extraordinary place.”

These additions sit alongside the hotel’s existing favourites – Polo Lounge, Fountain Coffee Room and Cabana Cafe – all of which remain unchanged.
