Kōloa Landing Resort in Kauai hosts sixth annual Kauai Poke Fest

With more than 20 professional and amateur competitors and a star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs set to take the stage, Kōloa Landing Resort at Poipū, Autograph Collection, is preparing to welcome guests to the Sixth Annual Kauai Poke Fest.

A two-day culinary celebration hosted by the “Godfather of Poke” Sam Choy, the festival will bring together world-class culinary talent, live Hawaiian entertainment, local vendors, hosted bars and more than 1,000 pounds of fresh Hawaiʻi-caught ahi tuna.

Joining Choy for the weekend are celebrity chefs including Michelin-starred Emeril Lagasse, Sheldon Simeon and Las Vegas culinarian Ronnie Rainwater.

The weekend begins with the exclusive Poke Masters’ Table Dinner, an intimate multi-course dining experience featuring all four chefs alongside reigning 2025 Kauai Poke Fest champion Mark Oyama.

The main festival sees professional and amateur poke makers compete live in front of celebrity judges and hundreds of attendees for the coveted Crystal Poke Bowl, cash prizes and Kauai Poke Fest championship title. Guests can sample dozens of poke creations throughout the evening while enjoying live entertainment and Choy’s signature poke-making demonstration.

“Kauai Poke Fest has become one of those special events that brings together everything we love about Hawaiʻi: great food, great people, and a strong sense of community,” says General Manager Aaron Bambling. “From local chefs and businesses to visitors experiencing Kauaʻi for the first time, the festival creates an opportunity to celebrate the culture and traditions behind one of Hawaiʻi’s most iconic dishes while supporting an important cause.”
