Kanvar Singh, CEO of KS Hospitality Group, and restaurateur Jimmy Rizvi, founder of Bungalow, have partnered to open Rose Hill Rooftop, a new hospitality venue atop Park South Hotel in Manhattan, part of JDV by Hyatt.
Positioned at the intersection of uptown and downtown, the venue combines multi-level open-air terraces with indoor lounge spaces, offering unobstructed views of the Empire State Building. The design draws from 1970s rooftop culture, incorporating greenery, industrial accents and flexible spaces for both intimate gatherings and large-scale events.
The culinary programme emphasises shareable, chef-driven dishes including tuna tacos, wood-fired pizzas, sliders, truffle fries and seasonal salads. The cocktail menu introduces signature offerings such as the Rose Hill Rooftop with soju strawberry liqueur, prosecco, cotton candy and rose leaf, alongside Champagne and premium spirits programmes featuring brands such as Código 1530, Veuve Clicquot and Grey Goose. Programming includes weekend brunch, rotating global wines and seasonal menus.
The rooftop is designed with corporate and private events in mind, equipped with group packages, in-house catering, full A/V capabilities and a designated dance floor. Scheduled activations include US Open rooftop screenings, DJ-led events and design pop-ups.
Kanvar Singh leads KS Hospitality Group, whose portfolio includes Elsie Rooftop, Elsie Penthouse and Premiere Park City. A Cornell General Managers Program graduate with over 20 years in the sector, Singh previously served as VP of Dream Hotel Group and held leadership roles at Hyatt Hotels.
Jimmy Rizvi, founder of East Village’s Bungalow, is recognized for concept-driven Indian dining, having collaborated with Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna. His ventures, including GupShup, Chote Miya, Ammi and Bungalow, highlight regional Indian cuisines through a contemporary lens.
