Le Meurice presents afternoon tea by Cedric Grolet

Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice has launched a new afternoon tea by Cedric Grolet at Restaurant Le Dalí.

Grolet, a member of the hotel’s culinary team since 2011, brings his contemporary, sculptural pastry approach to one of the hotel’s most historic traditions, reinterpreting afternoon tea with a modern Parisian lens.

The experience begins with a selection of savoury finger sandwiches, including 12‑month-aged ham and truffle on house-made bread, a lobster roll–inspired brioche and a salmon sandwich topped with caviar.

Guests are then invited to discover Grolet’s signature sculpted fruits, created in a trompe‑l’œil style. The launch selection features yuzu, seasonal apple, mango, peanut, pistachio and pecan, complemented by warm madeleines, cakes, sugar brioches and freshly baked scones.

Champagne, teas, coffee and hot chocolate are also offered, with the hotel team guiding guests through pairings to enhance each stage of service.
