Chef Nelly Robinson is set to host a series of culinary pop-ups at InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort.
The chef will join the hotel’s culinary team at its signature restaurant The Lighthouse in September 2023, bringing a range of island-inspired à la carte options and a curated tasting menu.
The luxury Maldives resort has been home to a number of international chefs over the years. The resort’s signature restaurant boasts a 360-degree view of the resort and the Indian Ocean, typically serving up seasonal ingredients and seafood.
Robinson meanwhile is no stranger to creating dishes with local hooks at his Sydney restaurant Nel. As for his creations at InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort, guests can expect creative, eclectic and modern creations ranging from Kingfish Firebark to wildfire-spiced Barramundi, and Robinson’s own take on Kedgeree. Local lobster as well as various vegetarian creations are also set for the chef’s pop-up menu at The Lighthouse.
