Luxury Lancashire hotel and Michelin-star restaurant, Northcote, has announced a series of new dining options, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy five-star cuisine within the grounds of the boutique property or from the comfort of their own home. 

The new dining offering includes a click and collect and home delivery service, the ‘Northcote at Home’ private dining experience, and an all-new gourmet menu.

Developed by Executive Chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, the new dining options have been launched in time for the start of autumn, with menus taking inspiration from the changing seasons. 

The new Autumn Gourmet Menu, served in the Northcote restaurant, includes dishes such as Squab Pigeon with Heirloom Beetroot and Aged Balsamic; West Coast Scallop with Cured Pearls, Pomegranate, Almond and Coriander; and Scottish Venison Sausage with Damson, Butternut and Toasted Seeds. The five-course menu is available at dinner and lunch and is completed by a dessert of Orchard Apple Pie with Walnuts, Maple and Caramelised Milk. 

Meanwhile, its click and collect and home delivery experience allows diners to experience Northcote’s award-winning food from the comfort of their own homes. Using seasonal ingredients, the two gourmet boxes – a four-course Autumn Gourmet Box and three-course Classic Gourmet Box – each include signature Northcote bread and handcrafted chocolates. The classic box features dishes such as Herb-Cured Salmon Gravlax with Pickled Cucumber, Horseradish Crème Fraiche and Burnt Lemon, followed by the mouth-watering Aged Beef Wellington layered with Mushroom Duxelle and wrapped in Pastry, served with Young Carrots, Potato Gratin, and Red Wine Sauce. 

Rounding off the new offering and taking ‘home dining’ to the next level, ‘Northcote at Home’ sees a personal chef, an experienced team and an optional sommelier travel to guest houses, allowing them to enjoy the exclusivity of Northcote in a home dining setting. Available in locations where lockdown restrictions are not in place, the initiative provides guests with the option of Michelin-star food and paired wines, which are ideal for private dining, gourmet BBQs and luxury afternoon tea. 

Home delivery will launch on the 30th October and will be available nationwide.
