Porto Elounda in Crete unveils new dining concepts following renovation
Porto Elounda Golf & Spa Resort on Crete’s north-east coast has reopened for the season following a phased renovation, introducing new dining concepts.
Part of Elounda Collection, the resort now presents a more contemporary aesthetic across its key guest areas, alongside continued investment in its accommodation offering.
A key addition is Thea, the resort’s redesigned bar, positioned as a social hub overlooking the sea with a focus on evening cocktails and a more refined after-dark atmosphere. The space also features a large-scale artwork commissioned from Greek artist Maria Filopoulou, known for her depictions of figures in water. The piece portrays the owners’ six grandchildren underwater.
Porto Elounda has also introduced Cosmos, a new international buffet restaurant designed by Italian interior designer Bartali. The bright, open dining space, with extended terrace seating, serves a daily changing menu of globally inspired dishes, with an emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients and live cooking stations.
