Puente Romano Beach Resort has announced the opening of Greek-Mediterranean restaurant Gaia Marbella, together with Nyx Marbella, an exclusive speakeasy.
Founded by culinary visionaries Evgeny Kuzin and Chef Izu Ani, Gaia has become a culinary phenomenon, captivating global audiences across Dubai, Monte Carlo, Doha, London, and soon Miami.
The Marbella outpost captivates with its exquisite interiors of limestone walls and deep blue furnishings, embodying the essence of modern Greek architecture, while splashes of magenta bougainvillaea blooms reflect the rich flora of the Cyclades Islands.
Chefs Izu Ani and Orestis Kotefas have crafted sharing menus comprising dishes such as whole sea bream carpaccio, wood oven roasted baby goat, and Kritharaki orzo seafood pasta. Fine ingredients and the heartwarming essence of home cooking are at the core of Gaia’s offerings, highlighted by a signature seafood market that showcases a variety of fish and seafood.
“Bringing Gaia to Andalucia is so exciting for me as a Chef,” comments Chef Izu. “Southern Spain has such a rich gastronomic culture, with remarkable Mediterranean produce from the mountains and sea, making GAIA Marbella an especially captivating culinary experience.”
Alongside Gaia’s global expansion, the Marbella outpost is accompanied by Nyx, a signature speakeasy-style lounge, that guests can discover concealed behind a discreet hidden door in the restaurant.
“Gaia is a totally unique concept, in that it offers guests a ‘home away from home’ in each and every visit, and each and every city,” explains Evgeny Kuzin, Chairman of Fundamental Hospitality. “We are extremely proud to introduce Marbella to our homegrown ‘Made in Dubai’ concept and the experience that comes with it. The partnership with Puente Romano Beach Resort on what marks the 5th Gaia opening is a partnership that aligns perfectly, highlighting elevated concepts in the hospitality industry.”
