Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh has unveiled Mindy’s, a pop-up speakeasy inspired by the glamour and intrigue of 1920s New York.
Tucked behind an unmarked door, Mindy’s captures the discretion of a classic hidden bar. Expect dim lighting, vintage inspired décor, subtle gaming elements and charismatic bartenders who bring the experience to life. The atmosphere is enhanced by the smooth sounds of jazz and swing, while a dedicated cigar lounge completes the space.
A special cocktail menu created for the pop up includes Sky Masterson’s Lucky Flight, a mix of bourbon, honey syrup, lemon and bitters, finished with a flaming orange peel, Miss Adelaide’s Lament, made with London Dry Gin, raspberry liqueur and lemon and Nathan Detroit’s Hustle, spotlighting rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters and cherry candy. For those seeking a non alcoholic option, the Reformer blends ginger beer, lime and mint.
“We are thrilled to bring the vibrant energy and timeless glamour of old New York to Raffles Hotel Le Royal with Mindy’s,” says General Manager Dagmar Lyons. “This immersive pop-up perfectly embodies Raffles’ spirit of storytelling and exceptional experiences, offering our guests and Phnom Penh’s discerning crowd a truly unique evening they won’t forget.”
