Round Hill Hotel and Villas hosts Rocco DiSpirito

This spring, Round Hill Hotel and Villas will host James Beard Award winning chef, New York Times bestselling author and television personality Rocco DiSpirito for a two-night culinary residency.

Set on the Jamaican coastline, Round Hill has been a retreat since the 1950s, known for its combination of classic design and relaxed Caribbean character.

Within this setting of coastal views and tropical gardens, Chef DiSpirito will present his Italian American dishes adapted with Jamaican ingredients and local influences. The approach reflects both his culinary background and the island’s food traditions.

Guests will be able to attend an afternoon culinary masterclass where Chef DiSpirito will prepare one of his signature dishes. The programme continues with Round Hill’s Jamaican Night at The Grill, which will include a dish created for the event that brings together Italian and Caribbean elements.

The residency will conclude with a five-course dinner that uses Jamaican ingredients interpreted through Chef DiSpirito’s style of cooking.

This programme offers travellers and food enthusiasts an opportunity to engage directly with the chef, take part in a practical session and experience Jamaican cuisine within Round Hill’s island setting.
