St Regis Costa Mujeres Resort in Cancún opens with nine F&B venues
St Regis Costa Mujeres Resort in Cancún has officially opened on the Yucatán Peninsula with nine distinct food and beverage venues at its heart.
Inspired by the cultural richness of the destination, the resort’s culinary programme combines local ingredients and traditions with global techniques and refined execution.
Among the dining concepts, Costa Coral serves all-day dining that reimagines traditional Mexican cuisine through a contemporary lens, while Fish Market showcases Caribbean-inspired seafood and the region’s freshest local catch. Palmare Grill brings the flavours of Mexico’s coastline to the beach, offering a menu rooted in coastal culinary traditions. Meanwhile, rooftop restaurant Shami blends Japanese techniques with vibrant local ingredients.
True to the legacy of St Regis Hotels & Resorts, the resort also offers a curated programme of rituals and experiences that combine the brand’s signature traditions with the cultural heritage of the Yucatán Peninsula. Guests can enjoy classic experiences such as afternoon tea and evening Champagne Sabrage alongside locally-inspired activities including sunrise ceremonies and ocean excursions that support coral reef restoration.
The destination-led programme is further enhanced by hands-on workshops, artisan collaborations, family-friendly activities, traditional craft experiences, live music performances and sophisticated social gatherings hosted at venues including The St Regis Bar and Jack’s Club.
Designed by architectural firm Sordo Madaleno, the resort is a striking composition of glass and concrete that complements the surrounding coastline. Drawing inspiration from the region’s natural beauty and Maya heritage, the architecture reinterprets local mythology and craftsmanship.
