Villa Dagmar will open its doors in the heart of Stockholm’s Östermalm neighbourhood later this year.

The 70-room boutique hotel will feature a restaurant run by Daniel Höglander and Niclas Jönsson – owners and chefs at the region’s Michelin-starred restaurant Aloë – as well as a flower shop paying homage to the gardens that owner Dagmar Bergsten has cultivated around her home. A concept store offering seasonal food with local ingredients, as well as a spa and a fitness centre, will complete the guest experience.

“We are proud to partner with Daniel Höglander and Niclas Jönsson as they share our vision to create a new signature venue, where guests can refuel with Mediterranean fusion food, wines and spirits,” says Bergsten.

“The restaurant is a place where gastronomy, heart and high ambitions unite, while our bar located in the courtyard is where you’ll find a rich catalogue of cocktails – a place to see and be seen. We will offer early breakfasts, lunches, dinners and late evening cocktails every day of the week.”

The Bergsten family also owns Hotel Diplomat, set in an Art Nouveau building on Strandvägen boulevard.
