W Algarve welcomes Vino by Paper Moon

W Algarve has expanded its F&B offering one year after opening with the launch of Vino by Paper Moon.

The new wine destination is a sister to the original Milanese institution Paper Moon, which first opened in 1977.

Vino by Paper Moon offers a wine list spanning over 100 regional, Portuguese and international references curated by Master Sommelier Miguel Martins. Catering to the most discerning wine connoisseurs, the wine list also includes a varied selection of wines by the glass and Champagne that are not available anywhere else in the country.

Overseen by chef Ciro Piedimonte, the culinary concept has been curated to complement the wine list, with an extensive selection of fresh fish, seafood and typical Italian meat dishes. The menu comprises three sections: senza fuoco or without fire, specialising in raw dishes; senza tempo or timeless, offering classic dishes available throughout the year; and questa stazione, offering an ever-changing list of seasonal dishes.

Highlights include king crabmeat with crispy salad and confit tomatoes; sea bass with fennel and lime sauce, grained mustard and toasted seeds; Mondeghili veal meatballs with tartare sauce; and white chocolate pineapple ravioli with coconut sorbet and grated green lemon.
