Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon launches Guerlain afternoon tea

Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon has launched a new afternoon tea in partnership with luxury beauty brand Guerlain. 

The Orchidée Impériale afternoon tea sees Diogo Lopes, the hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef, serve up a culinary offering inspired by the orchid, queen of the plant kingdom. Guests will sample the new Four Seasons afternoon tea in the Almada Negreiros lounge, accompanied by a new white orchid installation.  

Savoury options, created by Executive Chef Pascal Meynard, include smoked salmon with a gold and bergamot gel; crunchy rice, celery, shimengi and amarante; and foie gras, cereal and ginja. 

As for sweet treats, there are traditional scones with clotted cream and homemade jam; a caramel, banana and chocolate cremeux and blueberry tart; yuzu choux adorned with dry flowers; and a lavender and hibiscus macaron.  

The tea brings with it an added perk in the form of Guerlain Orchidée Impériale beauty and skincare samples.
