Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa launches Michelin-starred chef series

Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa in Spain has launched a new Michelin-starred chef series, High Cuisine Nights.

The event series sees renowned chefs take over the resort’s fine-dining restaurant Amapola for a series of exclusive one-night culinary collaborations celebrating Spanish gastronomy.

Across six evenings, guest chefs recognised by the Michelin Guide and Repsol Guide will lead the kitchen, presenting bespoke menus that highlight regional flavours and contemporary techniques.

The first event is hosted by Head Chef Borja Aldea of Reina XIV, which holds one Repsol Sun and is recommended by the Michelin Guide. Signature dishes include a modern take on Segovian-style trout, judiones beans served in pheasant consommé and an Isabel de Farnesio brioche.

The series will continue throughout the year with takeovers from the following chefs:

  • Sara Ferreres, Taller Arzuaga in Valladolid
  • Iván Cerdeño, El Cigarral del Ángel inToledo
  • Miguel Hernández, Por Herencia in Murcia
