Le 300 at The Maybourne Riviera hosts second Meet & Sips series

Le 300 bar at The Maybourne Riviera has launched the second season of its takeover series, Meets & Sips.

Spearheaded by the property’s Head Mixologist Julien Lecharpentier, this year’s series showcases bars that share his passion for layered, refined flavour profiles and artistic storytelling through cocktails.

It all kicked off in July with a takeover from Milanese cocktail pioneer Carico, joining Lecharpentier for an evening of collaborative mixology.

One of Italy’s most innovative and fast-rising bars, Carico is led by Head Bartender Francesco Polo and blurs the line between casual dining and elevated mixology. A 50 Best Discovery venue, it is celebrated for its research-driven approach to ingredients and its seamless pairing of food and cocktails.

During the Carico takeover, guests enjoyed four bespoke cocktails, including Le 300’s signature Dulce, made with Brugal 1888, muscat wine, and toasted milk infused with savoiardi biscuits, and Carico’s experimental Dolor Pepper, blending Brugal 1888, coconut and red pepper.

The following takeovers will take place over the summer:

The Ritz Bar x Le 300 – A Tale of Two Cities

The second event brings Romain de Courcy, Director of the Ritz Bar located within the Ritz Paris, to Le 300. Romain’s internationally inspired style draws from his training in gastronomy, visual arts, and hospitality. Known for his cinematic approach to storytelling through cocktails, a hallmark of the modern Parisian mixology scene, he will explore the elegant contrasts between the urban sophistication of Paris and the serene luxury of the Riviera.

Supported by The Macallan, this evening will present rare whisky-based creations that highlight balance, craftsmanship, and narrative depth. Expect seasonal French ingredients and deep flavours served with couture-like precision.

CopperBay Lancaster x Le 300 – The Final Wave

The series concludes with CopperBay Lancaster, Paris, an extension of the original CopperBay, a landmark in the Parisian cocktail scene since 2014. Led by the celebrated Aurélie Panhelleaux, co-founder of the CopperBay group, Panhelleaux brings her extensive hospitality background and reputation as one of Paris’s most technically skilled mixologists. Her approach embodies a maritime sensibility rooted in freshness and spontaneity.

Sponsored by Roku Gin, this takeover will pay homage to the Mediterranean’s botanical bounty, merging Japanese precision with southern French exuberance. Guests can anticipate delicate infusions, subtle aromatics and a seamless interplay of texture and temperature.
