Ciro’s, a restaurant established in Deauville in 1920, is opening on Hotel Barrière Le Majestic’s beach in Cannes, bringing maritime-inspired cuisine to a beachside setting.

This marks the start of a new chapter for the property on the Croisette. After serving fish and seafood on the Atlantic coast, Ciro’s now arrives on the Mediterranean.

At the Majestic, designer Jordane Arrivetz has created a yachting-inspired setting with wood decking reminiscent of Riva boats, a blue-and-white terrace overlooking the sea and a dining room with maritime-themed frescoes, bright striped fabrics and shell details.

Under chef Gabriella Stocker, who has worked previously in Michelin-starred restaurants in Madrid and London, the spring menu focuses on fish and seafood with raw fish plates, signature dishes like lobster linguine, whole fish from the daily market and beach dishes such as lobster roll and Caesar salad.

The Majestic’s Head Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard adds desserts including Baked Alaska with raspberries, Madagascan vanilla Tropézienne, Carros strawberries and praline millefeuille with Piedmont hazelnuts. A basket of fruit and freshly baked mini madeleines also remains on the menu.
