Los Félix brings Michelin-starred Mexican cuisine to The Ned
Los Félix, the Michelin-starred Mexican restaurant from Miami, will complete a one-month London residency at Cantina Malibu at The Ned City of London, in partnership with Modelo Especial.
The residency marks the restaurant’s UK debut and offers guests the opportunity to experience its heritage-led approach to Mexican and Meso-American cuisine. Known for its focus on heirloom corn, traditional techniques and contemporary fine dining execution, Los Félix, part of Grassfed Culture Hospitality, will present an à la carte menu alongside London-exclusive dishes.
The menu centres on in-house made tortillas and the restaurant’s signature use of heirloom corn, with highlights including day’s catch crudo with honeydew, pickled pineapple and lime caviar; duck rillette with caramelised onion and tamarind; tuna tostada with chipotle criollo and caviar; and tetela with smoked mushrooms and queso Oaxaca. A selection of house-made salsas, including habanero and mango, molcajete and salsa macha, will accompany the dishes.

The drinks offer includes Modelo Especial on draught, alongside cocktails such as a sangria and michelada created for the residency.
“At The Ned, London has always felt like a current I was meant to follow. Electric, relentless, forever a step ahead in the world of food,” says Sebastian Vargas, Head Chef and co-founder of Grassfed Culture Hospitality. “To bring Los Félix here feels like stepping into a dream that never stopped moving.”
“London is everything I long for in a city,” says Pili Restrepo, Creative Director and co-founder. “Being able to bring Los Félix there, even for a short time, felt like the only way to honour that feeling.”
