Nobu Beach Inn in Barbuda plans collection of restaurants
Nobu Hospitality has announced new details for the upcoming Nobu Beach Inn as part of The Beach Club, a low-density resort and residential community on the Caribbean Island of Barbuda.
Created in partnership with James Packer and Daniel Shamoon, Nobu Beach Inn will offer a barefoot retreat immersed in its natural surroundings.
Set across 400 acres and two miles of beachfront on the island’s southwest coast, a collection of restaurants will complement Nobu, including an oceanfront grill showcasing the local catch and an omakase sushi bar.
An evolving roster of chefs, visiting wellness practitioners and fitness experts will bring a programme of distinctive culinary and wellness experiences to the island.
A deeply personal project for co-founder Robert De Niro, who first discovered the property more than 30 years ago on a boat trip from Antigua, Nobu Beach Inn has been a heartfelt endeavour ever since.
“Since I first stepped foot on Barbuda, I knew it was special,” he says. “We wanted to create a place that’s comfortable, where everyone wants to gather and embrace the essence of the island. The Nobu Beach Inn is designed to complement its surroundings while maintaining the landscape’s natural beauty.”
Construction is set to be completed in late 2026.
