The St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort introduces latest Tastemaker series

The St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has announced the latest season of its signature Tastemaker series, presenting a curated programme of talent across gastronomy, mixology and wellness.

The upcoming season features an international lineup of Michelin-starred chefs, mixologists and leading experts in their fields.

Thomas Ling, a Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador appointed by the Japanese government and a recognised sake authority, returns to guide guests through the world of premium sake, exploring brewing traditions, regional characteristics and the philosophy behind Japan’s national beverage.

Alongside this, chef Manish Singh, widely recognised from MasterChef India and celebrated for his refined yet approachable interpretation of Indian cuisine, will present a Diwali-inspired culinary journey showcasing regional diversity and contemporary presentation techniques.

In November, the programme expands further across gastronomy and mixology. Felice Capasso, Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year 2025, returns with his signature approach to mixology, combining technical precision with creative storytelling to deliver a series of immersive cocktail experiences.

During the same period, Michelin-starred chef Alexander Herrmann will bring his contemporary European culinary philosophy to the island through refined tasting menus and interactive dining experiences centred on seasonality and regional ingredients.

Continuing throughout the season, Farina 1709, recognised as the world’s oldest fragrance house and founded in 1709, will present a series of immersive sensory experiences exploring the relationship between fragrance, memory and taste. Guests will be invited to discover the craftsmanship behind perfumery through curated scent journeys and experiential moments that connect fragrance with dining.

The season concludes in December with the return of Satan’s Whiskers, one of London’s most influential cocktail bars, led by founder Kevin Armstrong. With more than 25 years of experience in the global bar industry, Armstrong is celebrated for his disciplined, ingredient-led approach to cocktails, focusing on precision, balance and clarity of flavour. Guests will experience a series of curated menus and intimate interactive sessions inspired by the bar’s methodology.

“Each season, the Tastemaker Series reflects our ongoing commitment to bringing the very best talents to the island, while also welcoming back those who have created meaningful connections with our guests,” says General Manager Ozgur Cengiz. “At The St Regis, we believe every visit should offer something new to discover. As always, whenever guests return to the resort, there is something special waiting to be experienced.”
