The Hoxton is teaming up with Woodford Reserve for Old Fashioned month, this time bringing on board Barcelona bar, Sips, for a whisky-fuelled tour across Europe.

Sips currently ranks third on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, celebrated for its avant-garde approach to mixology. In November, founders Simone Caporale and Marc Álvarez will be traveling to The Hoxton hotels in Paris, Florence, Amsterdam and London, suitcases laden with Woodford Reserve. For four special takeovers, the duo will treat guests to a special evening dedicated to the timeless whisky cocktail.

Each event will feature four exclusive, playful twists on the classic Old Fashioned, along with a curated menu of pairing snacks.

Cocktails include:

• DE 60 Old Fashion: made with Woodford Reserve bourbon and elevated by a bespoke Sips glucose blend.
• Circles: a combination of Woodford Reserve Rye, vetiver and sherry for a sophisticated finish.
• Oxid: a bold reinterpretation using ancient wine with notes of hazelnut, bourbon and oak.
• Sour: a refreshing long serve with Rye, Kalamansi citrus, fresh herbs and bubbles.

The DE 60 Old Fashion will be available at all The Hoxton hotels worldwide for the whole month of November.
