Nigel Boschetti returns to JW Marriott Grosvenor House London as Executive Head Chef

Nigel Boschetti is to return to JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London as Executive Head Chef, having left the hotel in 2018 to take on the role of Executive Chef at New York’s Marriott Marquis.

Boschetti first joined JW Marriott Grosvenor House in 2010, bringing his expertise in catering to high-profile events and dining experiences. During his time at the hotel, he became known for crafting menus and delivering themes for the annual BAFTA Awards Dinner and Pride of Britain, amongst others.

The chef will return to Grosvenor House in June, to oversee all food and beverage operations across the 496-room hotel, including ballroom banqueting, in-room dining, afternoon tea in The Park Room and dining at JW Steakhouse restaurant.

Where passion for provenance and produce meet on Park Lane, Boschetti is excited to return and create memorable culinary moments, stating, “following a difficult and unprecedented year for the hospitality industry I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to JW Marriott Grosvenor House and working with the amazing team there to re-establish this landmark hotel as the number one venue for major events and celebrations in London”.

Stuart Bowery, Multi Property General Manager also comments: “I look forward to welcoming Nigel Boschetti back to JW Marriott Grosvenor House to lead and inspire our culinary team. His two and a half years away in the United States, at the New York Marriott Marquis, will bring a valuable new perspective as we recover from the past 14 months lockdown.”

Boschetti started his career as Head Chef in Amberley Castle Hotel, he then moved to Simpsons in The Strand at The Savoy as Executive Chef before joining JW Marriott Grosvenor House London in 2010. Bringing over 30 years of experience, the chef returns to JW Marriott Grosvenor House London but with the same unparalleled enthusiasm for creativity and excitement for great British fare.
