Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square is celebrating 100 years since the opening of its landmark Port of London Authority building with a luxury dining experience designed to showcase the very best of the hotel.

The Gourmet Journey offers diners a gastronomic tour of the hotel’s F&B venues, spinning through the two Michelin-starred La Dame De Pic London, Mei Ume and Rotunda in the space of one evening.

Proceedings begin at the hotel’s luxury penthouse suite, whose private terrace provides a peaceful spot to watch the sunset over the London skyline. Here, guests will enjoy a champagne cocktail and a series of creative canapés.

The first courses are served at La Dame De Pic London, the prestigious fine-dining restaurant helmed by the most decorated female chef in the world, Anne-Sophie Pic. Head Chef Marc Mantovani has curated an exclusive menu for diners to showcase the very best of Chef Pic’s fine French cuisine, including seasonal dishes such as roasted green asparagus marinated with geranium, sorrel, basil and served alongside coffee ice-cream, as well as her signature berlingots with baron bigod and sake fondue and parcels of fresh pasta filled with St Jude and served in a spring pea dashi infused with mélilot. Head Sommelier Élise Mérigaud has selected a bottle of St Péray Payrolles to perfectly pair with the dishes, chosen for its aromatic complexity and notes of citrus and pear.

Diners are then transported to Asia, moving to the onsite Chinese and Japanese restaurant Mei Ume to sample delicacies from Head Chef Tony Truong. Highlights include sushi and sashimi, followed by an indulgent foie gras and Peking duck sandwich and double-boiled soup with abalone, ginger and ginseng. Seasonal sakes compliment each of the dishes.

Then its on to the private member space, Château Latour Discovery Room, where diners will be able to enjoy a number of carefully selected vintages direct from the cellars of the Médoc estate the space is named after. A hearty dish of slow cooked short rib with carrot ginger puree and crispy leeks is served here, followed by a cheese course of  32 month dry aged Parmesan espuma with truffle, topped with a saffron cracker. Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Goujon rounds out the meal with a delicate raspberry and Alpaco chocolate with an earl grey infused cocoa mousse.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this incredible experience and showcase the very best of what our hotel has to offer,” says Director of wine Jan Konetzki. “With exclusive fine wines, two Michelin-starred dining, expertly crafted dishes and timeless cocktails, the gourmet journey is the perfect evening for those looking to celebrate that special occasion with something entirely unique.”
